Improving stamina, strength, or recovering from an injury? Erasmus Sport offers the perfect place for your ultimate workout: our gym of no less than 900 square meters! Here you can find a variety of the most advanced and brand-new fitness machines from Life Fitness and Hammer Strength. With the cardio zone (including Netflix), strength zone, functional training zone, and the HIIT Boutique we make sure that you can get a challenging workout at all levels. Of course, we have professional instructors present, who can give advice on how to use the machines. Besides this, they can provide you with a training schedule and diet, adjusted to your wishes and needs. Ask our instructors about the possibilities.
Our all-inclusive cardio zone is a perfect place to train for your aerobic fitness. The machines have interactive screens and offer entertainment options like Netflix. Moreover, you can easily connect your wearables to them.
The strength zone is the right place for you if you want to grow your muscle strength and mass. This zone, like all the others, is very user friendly and is arranged in a logical order. This makes training by yourself a lot easier. Do you want to train with heavier weights? We boast a very wide range of strength machines and free weights (dumbbells and barbells) from Hammer Strength. In addition, there are five racks with platforms to work on essential compound exercises. Furthermore, the unique Fun(ctional) zone offers the possibility of sport-specific strength training and can be used for group training, like circuits, as well.
And there is more! The functional zone is also home to our Kettlebells, multiple Thera Bands, Core Bags, Slam Balls, and TRX. In this way you can train in a safe way with your own body weight.
For a full body cardio training and improving your stamina you can go wild at our HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) Boutique on the Hammer Strength HD Air Bikes, treadmills, rowing machines, plyo boxes, and HIIT benches.
Note: in our fitness we train with clean sportswear and sports shoes. Besides, you can only bring a bottle that can be closed. The use of a towel is mandatory.

Erasmus Sport has a state-of-the-art fitness center with a diverse array of high-quality equipment from its partner Life Fitness. The equipment has been selected in a way that allows a wide variety of individual training options for each user to cater to their fitness goals.
There is an extensive cardio section which focusses primarily on conditioning (heart/lung) and weight control. In addition to the wide variety of cardio equipment, there is also a section to train the core and abdominal muscles.
To focus on whole body conditioning, there are a large number of user-friendly machines available. The machines are arranged in a logical order to allow you to train on your own quickly to attain your fitness goals.
For the group that wants to increase (sport-specific) muscle strength and –mass, there are a large number of devices (Hammer Strength) and a variety of free weights (dumbbells and barbells). Furthermore, there are two power racks present to facilitate a large range of essential compound exercises. In addition, unique, the Gladiator Zone, offers sport-specific strength training and group training, such as circuits.
There is more. We offer the possibility to train with Kettlebells, multiple Thera Bands, Plyo Boxes, Slam Balls and you can use our TRX to train safely with your own body weight. In addition, professional guidance can be given through instructors available who can inform and advise you on the use of the devices if desired. Our instructors like to ensure responsible workouts. They can give you individual advice catered to your personal needs that you have available directly on your mobile if you have activated the Erasmus Sport app.
